Paper and piece to be presented at a conference in New York

The paper “Comparing Ambisonics Multichannel Reproduction Across Venues” will be presented at the conference running parallel to the festival. The piece “Makuta” will also have its world premiere at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival (NYCEMF), scheduled from June 22 to 28, 2025, at the Sheen Center for Art and Culture in Greenwich Village. NYCEMF is the city’s premier electroacoustic music event and one of the most significant worldwide. Founded in 2009, the festival showcases innovative compositions from around the globe, presented in high-quality multichannel surround sound environments. Performances feature acoustic instruments, laptops, custom electronic devices, digital video works, and sound installations. Works are selected by an internationally respected panel of composers and musicians.
