Gabriel Morales
Co-Investigator
He is a PhD candidate in Science (Ecology and Evolution) at Universidad Austral de Chile and leads the project’s acoustic ecology strand. He holds an MSc in Acoustics and Vibrations and has more than ten years of experience in sound for documentary film. His research integrates phylogenetic methods and bioacoustic analysis with artificial intelligence.
Juan Carlos Vásquez

Award-winning composer, game researcher and academic. His works, ranging from spatial audio pieces to immersive interactive experiences, have been presented in more than 30 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. He is currently Assistant Professor at Duke Kunshan University in China.
André Mestre

Composer, sound artist and researcher in educational sciences. He is a member of the Centre for the Science of Learning & Technology (SLATE) at the University of Bergen, where he investigates how emerging technologies such as VR and AI are reshaping learning processes and creativity.
Tomás Altamirano

Conservation Director at Fundación Mar Adentro. His work is situated at the science–policy interface, addressing biodiversity conservation and sustainable cohabitation. From a transdisciplinary perspective, he leads strategic planning, research at the Bosque Pehuén Natural Lab, and national and international partnerships.
