The Soundlapse project (FONDECYT 1250388) collaborates with artist and dancer Macarena Álvarez in her creative residency HUMEDALIA, currently underway at NAVE (Santiago). The project is transdisciplinary in nature, exploring the relationship between contemporary dance, performance and aquatic ecosystems in southern Chile.

As part of this collaboration, Soundlapse contributes field recordings of wetlands from the Los Ríos region, which are integrated into Álvarez’s territorial and scenic research process. The residency includes a public opening on Thursday 25 June at 19:00 at NAVE, Libertad 430, Santiago. Free admission.
